Offering ukulele lessons from our studios in Ashgrove, Indooroopilly and Springfield, we will support you to build your musicianship from understanding the basics through to refining and perfecting your skills.

We tailor your programme to you. During one-on-one lessons, your coach will help you set goals and get you on on the fast-track to playing what you want to play, the way you want to play it. 

We offer a range of lesson times, so you can choose what suits you and your lifestyle. Choose from lessons that span:

• 30 minutes
• 45 minutes
• 60 minutes 

To ensure you get the most out of your programme, lessons are offered on an ongoing weekly basis. If you are a student of shift worker and will require a floating lesson schedule, contact us so we can determine a tailored programme that works for you. 

We can use the ukulele as transitional instrument for young children looking to move to the guitar later. We find that the physical size of guitars tend to overwhelm younger guitar players. A ukulele is much easier for younger musicians to handle and play. We can even tune a ukulele to be the same as the top 4 strings on a guitar in standard tuning…which means when your child moves to playing guitar, nothing changes.

At The Guitar Gym, we understand that life gets busy sometimes. We are very flexible with rescheduling options, so if you are ever unable to attend your regular appointment, we are able to provide lesson alternatives that suit you. 

At the end of the year, you’ll even get the opportunity to master your stage presence and rock out under real stage lights with a real band at our annual Performance Showcases.
