With a Bachelor of Music from QUT and years of hands-on experience, Kenny brings a wealth of knowledge to every session. Known for his approachable style and versatility, he is proficient in a variety of instruments, including bass guitar, ukulele, drums, and piano. Specialising in extended range guitars and contemporary fingerstyle, he offers clients a well-rounded and engaging approach to learning guitar.

Kenny regularly performs live with his band, Backroom Vegas, renowned for their high-energy party and pub rock performances that feature a mix of current pop hits. His love for the stage and deep musical influences – from Karnivool and Dead Letter Circus to Fleetwood Mac and The Beatles — shine through in his coaching. Kenny’s commitment to music education goes beyond technique; he is driven to help musicians connect emotionally with their instrument, experience the joy of music, and even surprise themselves with what they can achieve.
