Would you like to write your own music? It isn’t as difficult as you may think. This workshop is designed to explore some of the easiest methods to create rhythm, harmony and melody from scratch. No prior knowledge is necessary as all reference material will be provided. You should finish this workshop with a solid grasp of how to create your own music in any style you like.
Aimed at all levels.
No instrument necessary. Bring a notebook and pencil.

Jamming in music is one of the most satisfying musical experiences imaginable, and blues music is one of the most inclusive and free genres of music. Since its birth it has been a genre based on sharing and as a result, its simple forms and tools allow for incredibly fun jams. This workshop aims to give you an understanding of the forms of the genre and the tools necessary to navigate it while playing with your fellow musicians!!!

Country music is a phenomenal genre and has a rich musical history. While country music may seem simple, the techniques and approaches to harmony are unique and very deep. In this workshop we will teach you to strum along to country songs like a true professional. We will also unpack some of the melodic choices and start learning true Chicken Pickin’ technique. Three chords and the truth is all you need!
