Whether you are bass guitar novice or an experienced musician, we are committed to providing you with a welcoming and fun environment to help you smash your musical goals. Based in Ashgrove, Indooroopilly and Springfield, we will support you to build your musicianship from understanding the basics through to refining and perfecting your skills.

We tailor your bass guitar programme to you. During one-on-one lessons, your guitar coach help you set goals and get you on on the fast-track to playing what you want to play, the way you want to play it. Your coach will also mix and match different styles and formats of playing to ensure you get the most out of your time at The Guitar Gym. 

We offer a range of lesson times, so you can choose what suits you and your lifestyle. Choose from bass lessons that span:

45 minutes

60 minutes 

To ensure you get the most out of your programme, lessons are offered on an ongoing weekly basis. If you are a student of shift worker and will require a floating lesson schedule, contact us so we can determine a tailored programme that works for you. 

At The Guitar Gym, we understand that life gets busy sometimes. We are very flexible with rescheduling options, so if you are ever unable to attend your regular appointment, we are able to provide lesson alternatives that suit you. 

We also offer opportunities for bass players in additional to their weekly lessons. You can sit in on other groups to improve your skills playing with other musicians. Plus, we have our Band programme in partnership with our friends at Sono School of Music, which provides the opportunity to join a band and receive coach assisted rehearsals.

At the end of the year, you’ll even get the opportunity to master your stage presence and rock out onstage under real stage lights with a real band at our annual Performance Showcases. You’ll also gain exclusive access to online lesson resources, tailored practice schedules, our members’ forum, theory classes and workshops.
