Patricio
Patricio is a dedicated guitar coach with over 10 years of teaching experience and a formal qualification from the Alberto Ginastera Conservatorium of Music, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree as a Music Teacher specialising in musical education.
From classic rock to modern metal, Patricio’s playing spans a wide range of genres including blues, pop, classical, jazz, soul/R&B, and country. He brings a strong command of both electric and acoustic guitar techniques, offering guidance in everything from fingerstyle and extended range guitars to advanced picking and improvisation. He also teaches bass and ukulele, and incorporates music production, composition, and theory into his lessons to support well-rounded musical development.
Patricio’s passion for music was ignited as a child, digging through stacks of CDs and cassettes at home. Discovering artists like Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, and Iron Maiden opened a world of sound that captivated him and the guitarists in those bands quickly became his heroes. That early spark grew into a lifelong pursuit: first through dedicated practice, then through an academic deep-dive into music theory, and ultimately into a calling as both a performer and educator.
Currently performing with a modern metal band, and with a background in studio session work, Patricio stays active in the music scene. His influences now include virtuosos like Guthrie Govan, Nick Johnston, and Matteo Mancuso, reflecting his commitment to both technical excellence and expressive playing.
As a coach, Patricio’s mission is to guide students through every stage of their musical development, helping them build confidence, unlock creativity, and connect deeply with the music they love. For him, teaching is not just about playing guitar; it’s about sharing the same spark that inspired him, and helping others find their voice through music.
