Showcase Rehearsal Information

With the number of performers and songs involved, we can only schedule one rehearsal time for each song, so unfortunately it isn’t possible to arrange rehearsal times around individual availability. We understand that not everyone will be able to attend their scheduled rehearsal.

If you cannot attend, please let your coach know. This is particularly important for drummers and vocalists, as these parts are crucial to a productive band rehearsal. Where possible, we’ll arrange a backing track or fill-in musician so the rest of the band can still rehearse effectively.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your first scheduled rehearsal so you’re ready to begin on time. You only need to attend your scheduled rehearsal time/s and do not need to remain at the studio for the entire rehearsal session.

Guitarists and bass players: Please have your instrument tuned and ready to play before your rehearsal time wherever possible. Our rehearsal schedule is tight, so this helps everyone make the most of the time available.

Parents and carers: Space inside the studio will be very limited during rehearsals. Where possible, we ask that parents and carers drop performers off and return to collect them after their final scheduled rehearsal.

Running late? If you arrive after your scheduled rehearsal has started, please make your way directly to the back left of The Guitar Gym building, where the rehearsal will be taking place.
