Rhythm Guitar can often seem like a simple thing, but the complexities of rhythm in funk and R’n’B styles can be a truly challenging thing to master.

From Nile Rodger’s incredible funk grooves to Pete Townsend’s driving rhythms, a good rhythm guitar approach can elevate a song and your playing to new heights.

With this workshop it is our aim to make you one of the best strummers of the guitar. You will learn how to understand, count and play any rhythms based around 16ths, incorporate your fretting hand into rhythms by muting and unmuting the strings, and how to accent specific strings to create dynamic and engaging rhythm parts.

Workshop Cancellation Policy

For a booking to be cancelled we must receive notice by 5 pm Thursday the week of the workshop. 

Where a makeup lesson was used to book, it will be reissued.

Where cash is paid to book, it will be refunded.
