Improvisation on guitar can be one of the most enjoyable ways to be productive and creative at the same time.

Although it is a very subjective field of learning, there are many concepts we can apply to improvisation that is applicable to many styles and genres – this workshop will take you through an overarching approach to those concepts and how to start using them to make your improvisations more melodic and memorable.

Aimed at beginners and novices but the concepts apply to all levels. We will cover a basic pentatonic scale to use in the session for those that don’t know it already but more time will be spent on improvisational concepts than merely the scales you can use.

This will be an online workshop format, with time allotted to try the concepts as we go. Please note, attendees participation will be muted to other attendees for time efficiency.
