Would you like to write your own songs? Ever wondered how the pros write hit songs? Don’t know where to start? This workshop is for YOU!

There are many approaches to songwriting, and although there is no definitive way to do it, there are many techniques, tips and tricks to explore. The songwriting workshop mainly focuses on lyrics, phrasing, rhythm and structure.

There are many aspects that can help you with writing songs, a few of which will look at in this Songwriting Workshop. If you have attended one of these workshops before you will be aware of the vast amount of approaches that can be taken to improve your songs and songwriting ability. In this particular workshop, we will be highlighting two main aspects of songwriting: creating a bigger, better or more powerful delivery of the meaning in your songs and also developing ideas in your songs. If you have already written any songs or idea for songs, feel free to bring them along.

Aimed at all levels.  No instrument necessary.  Bring a notebook and pencil. If you have attended before, we look forward to welcoming you back.

Workshop Cancellation Policy

For a booking to be cancelled we must receive notice by 5 pm Friday the week of the workshop. 

Where a makeup lesson was used to book, it will be reissued.

Where cash is paid to book, it will be refunded.
